MOH has issued a travel advisory against all non-essential travel. There will be no cover for travel under this policy during this time. Furthermore, policies purchased from 19 March 2020 will not provide any cover for claims directly or indirectly arising from, relating to or in any way connected with COVID-19 (or any mutation or variation thereof or any related strain). Please refer to FAQ to learn more.
Important Notice for Travel to Hong Kong
In view of the publicity by mass media and the travel advisory issued by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the protest situation in Hong Kong is considered to be made known. As such, please note the following:
If the travel policy was purchased before 27 September 2014, Travel cancellation or postponement due to protest in Hong Kong will be covered subject to the policy terms and conditions.
If the travel policy was purchased on or after 27 September 2014, Travel cancellation or postponement due to protest in Hong Kong will not be covered. If the Policyholder chooses to continue his/her trip to Hong Kong, he/she will be covered under the policy subject to the policy terms and conditions, which excludes any claims arising directly or indirectly as a result of failure to take reasonable precautions to avoid a claim under the policy.

This Policy is protected under the Policy Owners’ Protection Scheme which is administered by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation (SDIC). Coverage for your Policy is automatic and no further action is required from you.
